Liberal arts schools with good international relations/studies programs...

title pretty much says it all. what are some good LAC's with highly regarded international relations programs?

Macalester
Dickinson

Middlebury has international politics and economics as well as international studies majors combined with the great language programs.

William and Mary has a very good IR program. Swarthmore, while they don’t have an IR major, has a strong political science department that lets you focus on international relations.

im very interested in middlebury and macalester, as for william and mary i dont think i could afford oos tuition. any other suggestions?

I’ve been exploring the CUNY Graduate Center’s MA program in liberal studies with a specialization in either IR or Women’s Studies and I’m impressed with the program’s interdisciplinary nature and the fact that you take courses in the Graduate Center’s doctoral programs. Can anyone share anything that they may know about the program? thanks.

Look into Claremont McKenna, they have a wonderful IR program. Also look into Amherst, if you’re looking for a HIGHLY selective LAC.
