liberal arts

anyone majoring in this? what does it enable you to do after school?

"Liberal Arts" isn't a major itself, but a large group of majors that fall under the heading of "liberal arts." These include languages (Greek, Latin, French, etc.), philosophy, Classics, history, English, etc.

so if i major in a liberal arts major...lets say philosophy or psyc. or something like that, will graduate schools accept me for say...business?

im asking this because im finding a tough situation. i want to transfer to school (from jr college) in the spring. i didnt know that many require a calc. class BEFORE entering. this would mean i have to take at least 3 more math classes at my jr college before i would be able to get in. also PSU does not allow ANY transfer students into the Smeal college of business which surprised me greatly.

would it work if i entered as say a liberal arts major and then switched to business?

All I know is that many, many students in grad business schools come with liberal arts degrees (after the requisite work experience).

Anyone else wanna jump in with some advice?

thanks..and thanks for telling more people to jump in ;)
