Does anyone know how Cornell is academically? I am goign over there but I want to know if it is really going to be a challenge academically and a great opportunity to learn, research and do experiments and projects, while still having time to enjoy the experience, play sports, etc.(It is what I'm looking forward to). If it is not the case, can anyone tell which school would be the best in this case, I know MIT is the most adequate for this type of life, but unfortunately I was not accepted.

lol @ Cornell not being academically challenging...absurd

Um...Cornell is often considered one of the most challenging universities in the country. "The hardest Ivy to graduate from." There are a LOT of research opportunities, sports, activities, decent social life, etc.

Cornell is insanely difficult - all the grad students I know who were undergrads at Cornell find their new schools ridiculously easy in comparison.

Also, as said before, it is the hardest ivy to graduate from...people say that for a reason
