JHU has one of the best undergrad creative writing programs in the country, and after doing a little research I'm totally in love with the idea of the program. However, I'm wondering what life on campus is like for humanities and writing majors? Are there plenty of organizations to join, literary magazines to edit, people to hang out with, etc.? Any insight would be appreciated.

Also, does anyone know if JHU is easier to get into if you're applying as a humanities major? I'm only curious because most of the schools I'm applying to are more in the 20-30% accepted range, not the below-20%. Thanks!
