Was wondering if Tufts has a good LGTB scene, and if anyone could speak from experience. Also, if you could compare it to that of different schools would be great :)

You can probably contact the LGBT Center for info -
[The Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Center at Tufts University](http://ase.tufts.edu/lgbt/)

Can’t speak from experience except for the LGBT (well, LGB) folks that I know, but as far as Tufts itself goes, with the exception of this recent nonsense by the Committee on Student Life ([CSL unanimously upholds Judiciary TCF de-recognition, allows for religious exemption from nondiscrimination policy](http://blogs.tuftsdaily.com/?p=8807), [Notes from the Underclass: CARE](http://blogs.tuftsdaily.com/?p=8909)), the student body and the administration are generally quite good about providing an open and accepting atmosphere for those who don’t solely identify within the gender binary or as heterosexual.

Tufts is known for being really accepting of LGBT students. You’ll notice a bunch of rainbow flags around campus because it’s not just gay students that fly them - many straight students and professors do too in support.
