Life of an Engineer student

So guys, I am just trying to see how all the upperclassmen who've taken courses in their major(aside from math/physics) but real major classes like, Thermo, Statics, etc. are doing and how hard it is to keep up a high GPA.

So if you don't mind, I have questions.

-What is your GPA/major/how long do you study a day?
-How much harder are your classes compared to calculus?(Any of them, I, II, or III) or even the series in general.

-What is an average day?

GPA: 3.83
Major: Industrial Engineering
Study Length: All in all I do everything from 8-5 weekdays and 8-12 or 1 on weekends. I don’t do anything school related after that normally, gotta keep the balance.

How much harder compared to calc… Which Calc? Statics was harder than all of them, but this was a teacher thing, not the class. I’m in Solid Mechanics and Mechanics of Materials right now and they both are doable, not easy though.

Typical day… Just like working a job, but since there is so much mental going on its a bit tougher. Just be disciplined. Study when you have the random hour and a half break between classes instead of just BS’ing. Make sure you have a time to workout and to veg out, its all about mentally recovering.
