Hello! I received a call in early February from Yale Admissions notifying me of my likely letter acceptance. I am not an athlete, STEM major, or Questbridge Finalist (rejected lol). It was completely unexpected, but I am so stoked! I just wanted to create a discussion forum to reach out to other Likely Letter recipients. I read online a few hundred go out every year, so here’s hoping we can get a discussion started!
I also have a question to previous years’ likely letter recipients. Around when did you receive your financial aid package? It has been about a month since I got the call and still nothing from the financial Aid office really counting on a generous package
Hey there! Same here for pretty much everything…got a call/likely letter out of the blue in early Feb (not an athlete or Questbridge either) and am wondering about FA, so you’re not alone!
There’s a facebook group for all admitted students, including those admitted Early Action if you aren’t aware. I think that would be far more active if you’re looking to meet fellow students.
