I saw on a Chinese post that someone already got admitted by Yale after a zoom call with the Admissions office, and invites her to attend a “Yale Engineering and Science Weekend” on 6th and 7th of March lmao.
Called the “YES” Weekend, hahah
Yale does do likely letters for their top applicants and there is a YES weekend. At least in precovid times. Maybe virtual this year.
I’m wondering if some of the admissions offices have now decided to use Zoom calls to indicate likely status since the mail has now become more unreliable?
I know for other schools likely letters are uploaded to the portals, not an actual snail mail letter.
