Does Yale send out "likely letter" to applicants in March? If so, do people ,who receive these letters, like almost 100% sure they will get in in early April?

yes it does. Here's a picture of one. http://www.tdy-perdiem.com/rsi/yale1.htm Notice how it was sent on January 7th, which means colleges might already be sending out likely letters.

^^^it was sent in 2004. Maybe colleges send out letters late like in Feb. and March

This letter is awsome! However, it is not an athelete letter.

it's not. it's for a very intelligent science/math girl. harry, although it was sent in 2004, i don't think yale's likely letter policy could have changed that drastically in 2 years. I think it means that Yale is currently sending likely letters to applicants right now.

i saw that letter. that girl got into a crazy amount of colleges, i think harvard ea...insane...

i want that letter!!!!...i know i know, every prospective yalie does...

so, when will we receive such letter if they did send out this year?

the letter is clearly fake

actually, i take that back: IT'S REAL! so, when will they be sent out?! where did that girl end up going?

Yea I'm wondering about the authenticity of that letter myself. It's not scanned in or anything, it was typed.

My son got the exact same letter in January 2005. He knew of others who got it in February/March 2005.

Mhmm, and considering it comes from the school itself, I'd think it's decently reliable.

Ooh I didn't check to see where the link came from...you're right, those are probably all real. Wow, that Connie girl is pretty amazing- she practically swept the Ivy League. I wonder how she picked between all those great schools...

Connie ended up at Harvard, where she got in EA.

how many times will Yale send out "likely letters" this year?

does anyone else feel incredibly inferior after reading that letter and the stuff on Connie?

raises hand

i do. and i'm not even applying to yale.

yale, please send me one!
