Likely Letter - Coming Out at March

<p>Does Yale send out "likely letter" to applicants in March? If so, do people ,who receive these letters, like almost 100% sure they will get in in early April?</p>

<p>^^^it was sent in 2004. Maybe colleges send out letters late like in Feb. and March</p>

<p>it's not. it's for a very intelligent science/math girl. harry, although it was sent in 2004, i don't think yale's likely letter policy could have changed that drastically in 2 years. I think it means that Yale is currently sending likely letters to applicants right now.</p>

<p>Yea I'm wondering about the authenticity of that letter myself. It's not scanned in or anything, it was typed.</p>

<p>My son got the exact same letter in January 2005. He knew of others who got it in February/March 2005.</p>

<p>Ooh I didn't check to see where the link came from...you're right, those are probably all real. Wow, that Connie girl is pretty amazing- she practically swept the Ivy League. I wonder how she picked between all those great schools...</p>
