<p>Does Carleton send out Likely Letters? </p>
<p>I don’t think so. I think only ivies and a few top universities do likelies.</p>
<p>No, but they do something almost as good. My son is going to play football there next year, and the coach said they score them 1 to 5, with 1s likely to be offered admission if they go ED1. ED2 is more competitive. I have to day, the coaches and admissions were very forthright about the process; it was transparent, more than I ever thought possible. My son also worked with NCSA advisors including someone who applied to Carleton and that coach said the same thing…if you are a top athlete recruit such that you fall in that 1 category, you have about a 90% chance of acceptance. </p>
