likely letter

likely from Yale!
I was thinking about questbridge but did not like the program.
I am into Stanford early and waiting from H and P.
How often do applicants get likely letters?

Just got a likely letter/call

Also into early for Yale and waiting for H & P (neither of which I want to go to)

lol we're like the same person!

what? you don't make sense...

you just got a yale likely letter, and you are in early to Yale too?

Do they send these things out as they go? I can't imagine that they've sorted through 27k applications already.

I meant stanford early, wow typo

I'd imagine that most people who get them had sent in their application fairly early.

mine was sent like a week early

you have already interviewed right?

Man how is it possible that people are getting likely this early. I mean did the admission office already go to committee on some applications.

This is crazy... how are people getting likelies already? Are you guys all athletes or are these academic likelies?
I can't imagine that Yale got through all their applications. Maybe I was already rejected :)

It's not just questbridge and athletes that are getting likely letters. I know of people who got them this year simply for academics. And not all of them had interviews yet. :)

I am a non-recruited athlete, non-questbridge applicant.
I have yet to have an interview.
They said my reader brought my application to the "attention" of the Dean.

Mmmm, I have officially lost hope for admission to Yale. I have to admit, I am REALLY envious of you likely letter receivers!
Congratulations, though :)

^ Idem!

HYPS2013 - May I ask what your stats are?

Loooooooll, way to use 'idem'.

Yeah, actually, HYPS, could you tell us everything about you so that we can coach our younger siblings?

(I'm only half joking)

Congrats on the likelies!
