Likely letters for Internationals

Do International Students often get likely letters from Top US univs (like Harvard, Yale, Upenn, Cornell etc..) that actually are known to send out likely letters in the US??

Has anyone got them this year???

well, if you are a recruited athlete from mongolia who did RSI and TASP with 1600, 800x5 and a 4.0 with an IB 45, you might get one :p

Canadians and Mexican students get it often...

Canadians are considered non-int'l

Sometimes they're on the same footing as domestics, sometimes they aren't. Tricky for them, especially with financial aid.

Yeah, they do that for their feeder schools. There is an international school here that gets mails like this all the time.

Welll.......... never heard of any international getting a likely letter .. and well they mostly avoid sending intels the same..

SM

canadians get likely letters.
iunno about the rest of the world tho..

well intels can get likely letters too, albeit a little rare. i have a friend (singaporean) who received likely letters from yale and cornell last year... but yeah, she did RSI. :p
