do internationals get likely letters?

anyone gotten them?

yes they so, a friend got one from WUSTL

I have got an Early Write from Amherst (their equivalent for a Likely). But, besides Amherst, I am not sure if schools like Williams or Dartmouth send Likely Letter/Early Writes to intels.

Sure, I got one from UVa. And it arrived on the day I was accepted, lol, so it wasn't of any use (euphoria lasted a total of 45 minutes, until I found out I was in).

I know that Harvard and WPI do send likely letters to intels.

dartmouth sends out likelies to internationals.

I got likelies from yale and cornell.

Somebody from my school got a likely from Harvard

dang, i was hoping that was the reason for not getting a likely:D

yup me 2 jwlee lol

reality sucks

do intls who applied for aid get likelies too?

i dont think applyin for aid would make any difference

applying for aid DOES make a difference -- if you're an international, unless the school is need-blind for internationals.

Hahah i was hoping for one.......tho i knew i wasn't gonna get one
i'll settle for an acceptance :)

international....ah, it seems to depend on which country you are from. for ex., really few applicants in China get one. Me neither. :)

Yeah, applying for aid makes a MAJOR difference for intls, perhaps unless you are from canada or mexico
But the very few need-blind schools (harvard, yale, princeton, williams, etc.) may not care as much
