<p>Are deferred international applicants ever given likely letters?</p>
<p>Likely letters are not just for athletes; I don't know whether international students get them.</p>
<p>Consolation, cakes, cookies, pies--do you think it's OK to ask the kids to send us care packages?</p>
<p>Hellogoodbye, I do know an international who got a likely letter though it's hard to believe a deferred candidate would get one unless something material happened since they reviewed you ED.</p>

<p>Don't start obsessing about likely letters: most of the kids who get in don't get one.</p>

<p>My kid was accepted and never received a likely letter or even an alumni interview.....Don't worry!</p>
<p>Well centimeters, my likely letter, dated February 11, just came in the mail today assuring me of admission. I am an American, but the letter does not say that only Americans can get them. Also, I'm not a recruited athlete, although I played varsity sophmore year.</p>

<p>When would Dartmouth start sending out ED likely letters? I mean, there’s basically only like a month between the date of submitting the app and then receiving the results!</p>
<p>I’m almost completely certain likely letters don’t exist for the ED crowd.</p>
<p>unless we’re talking about athletes, but even then that comes a little later, doesn’t it?</p>
<p>I know for a fact that Dartmouth gives LLs in the ED round… at least for athletes, and they can be issued after Oct 1.</p>
<p>So, even before the application deadline, are they reviewing applications?</p>
