Likely letters?

<p>Does Harvard send out the esteemed “likely letters”? I know a few kids at my school ( who aren’t very bright) already got into some fine places liek Columbia and Penn because of athletics but I’ve heard some schools send likely letters to kids they’ve already accepted and really liked. Is this the case for Harvard? </p>

<p>Really just curious, not saying I would get one :-)</p>
