Likely Obvious Question that needs an Urgent Answer!

Hi!

I have been searching for an answer for this question for the past few days but have been unable to find a clear and concise one.

I am applying to 3 schools through Early Action. I have self-reported my AP scores on my applications for this school already, and to be clear, I do want them to know what scores I received on the tests. However, do I need to pay for an official AP score report for each of these schools in addition to self-reporting my AP scores for the Early Action deadline. Or is an official score report only required for you to get credit for college courses after being admitted into the school?

In case in varies from school to school, two colleges in particular that I need to know the answer for this are UVA and Villanova.

Thanks for any responses, and let me know if you need any further clarification!

No, you do not need to send AP score reports unless the school specifically requests an official copy.

Unless the school(s) requires an official copy of your AP scores, you do not need to send them until you actually enroll in your choice college and have completed all your AP testing Senior year.

I remember from my D2’s applications that schools vary on their policy on this exact point. Some schools will not consider your AP scores without an official report. Check with each school individually.
