k , when i try to submit, the window that says i only have 70 units , do not meet the 90 units as a junior transfer... so like, AP's and classes taken from CC dont count??

what are youtalking about. 60 units is the requirement for junior transfer..?

90 quarter units, thats wut i meant

yeah..i had same problem too...i have like twenty something semester units from my ap exams...so, i wrote a little paragraph to them...hope they read it...

CC and AP stuff taken during HS dont count....only CC stuff when youre in college. ....i had this answered some time ago cuz i would be like 15semester credits over if the APs counted.

but..yea i dont think APs can be added to the tally

but if they dont count the CC or AP's, then i dont even have 70 quarter units...

i guess they count CC but not AP's, at least not all of the AP's i took

I believe you're talking about that warning dialogue box you get when you click submit. I believe that box indicates that until you complete those units and you have grades, you still only have 2 semesters worth (my case).

the ones that you listed in STEP FOUR with the blue CCCT probably contributed...though when they actually review, they probably will look at your HS graduation date and exclude the CC courses before that.

.i had this answered some time ago cuz i would be like 15semester credits over if the APs counted.

Nope, AP units do count, but only for the lower limit, not the upper limit.

ah, you're probably right...guess it works to your advantage.

cc classes taken before graduation DO count

um, im confused. lower limit? upper limit? does this mean that they contribute to the prerequisites? or what.

IM CONFUSED TOO, I JUST NEED A ABSOLUTE 100% EXACTLY CORRECT EXTREMELY PRECISE ANSWER. haha, .

um, im confused. lower limit? upper limit? does this mean that they contribute to the prerequisites? or what.

Whether they contribute to prereqs or not depends on the school. By lower/uppper limit, I mean they contribute to the 90 quarter unit minimum requirement that UCs require, however, they don't count for the upper limit. For example, some schools do not accept applicants with more than 120 quarter units, however, if the AP units push you over 120, they aren't counted (the same is true for the total school limits that the UCs have).

As for the original question, YES, they do count. I had less than 60 units at my CC before transferring, but the 3 AP classes I had got me to exactly 60, and I was admitted with no problem.

and even if they dont count, they still satisfy major prereqs.

aite, rc251, i pay for ur dinner tonight :)

and even if they dont count, they still satisfy major prereqs.

Not always. AP Macro/Micro Economics doesn't give you credit for Intro to Macro/Micro at UCSB. They give you general education credit, but you have to take the classes at UCSB if your major requires it.

you'r eonly a little concerned? haha
