^ Matt, you’re amazing. Wayne has great beats, no talent. Lupe is the best lyricist of this decade possibly. If we still say Tupac is the best, Hip-hop would never grow.

Yeah, that would sum it up. He talks about love and interesting things as opposed to sex and drugs like most mainstream artists do. His flow is very different. Talib Kweli is much like Lupe in “Get By” In my opinion.

Tupac is the only good rapper on this list. I only like Kanye’s first album, The college dropout. Right now the only rap artists i listen to is B.o.B(hate the single that he has out), Blu, KiD CuDi, Wale, and Charles Hamilton.

^ hahaha same!! college dropout was my favorite…the rest of the singles after that were decent too. like ‘diamonds from sierra leone’ and ‘stronger’ (which was okay)

and @ B.O.B. aaah i luv that song… (8)baby you the whole package plus you pay your taxes
and you keep it real while them other stay plastic – why hate it??!

kid cudi and wale are good too but im not very fond of them…i have a friend that’s in love with kid cud lol…

Kid Cudi really is the weed of hip-hop. I can find like 20 weed references a song. But the song dat new new is the shiznit. Wale is a lyrical beast.

and B.o.B = the Monster of these hip-hop freshmen.
He can be a star.

Well i first started to listen to him before his single came out. I like him because he was unique and hardly like anyone else i heard. To me “Nothing On You” sounds very mainstream to me, which i dislike, a lot. I much rather listen to his other songs on his mix-tapes: B.o.B vs Bobby Ray and The Great Bobby Ray
