<p>Outside of the fact that most of the data is now very outdated I don’t think it is very surprising. I would suggest that the scores for the minority students would place them in a similar percentile of that cohort as the white and Asian scores in their respective cohorts.</p>

<p>I remember reading about an African American student from a Madison high school who was not offered admission to UW for 2008 despite his 28 ACT score. It appears as though he may be the person referred to in the chart on page 13 and in the last paragraph on that page.</p>

<p>its no secret thats there is unfair preferences for minorities simply for being of a different race </p>

<p>universities should be able to discriminate like this if they wish but they need to be honest and open to criticism on the matter if they do</p>
