Links to websites in Essays?

I was looking over my essays as a final check, and it hit me that the admissions committee might not be reading the essays on a computer, so links to website wouldn't work.

I included links to some websites in my essay because they showed pictures/multimedia etc. that appropriately complimented the points I was making in my essay.

Does JHU read the essays on a computer? Are links okay?

Does anyone know?

I'm pretty sure everything is printed and reviewed on paper, not on the computer.

Thanks. Do any admissions people have a really definitive answer to this?

Applications are not read online ... they are read on paper. Web links will not be looked at. If you want the information on the web sites looked at, you should print them out and send in as supplemental information to your essays.

Thanks. Is it okay to send in supplement materials through e-mail?
