Hey, I recently got into Lipscomb and also received my award letter, I would end up paying 16,000 dollars a year. What I am wondering is how respected is it in Nashville and how is the campus like? I would like to hear from really anyone who has attended Lipscomb.

My friend goes to Lipscomb and I visited the campus. It’s really nice and the campus has so many students out and just studying or hanging around. The atmosphere was amazing! I know a lot of people who went there and they are well known and respected in the Nashville area! They also give amazing scholarships and financial aid for a private university.
I did not attend but have lived in Nashville all my life. Lipscomb has a nice small campus in a good area of Nashville. It is well known in the area but probably not much outside. It has been trying to keep up with Belmont University in terms of campus upgrades and growth. It has a fairly conservative Christian atmosphere. Basketball is popular and they have a nice arena. There is a good student center with typical food court options - Chik-fil-a etc.
My daughter has been accepted there and we have visited 3 times and been very impressed every time we go to the campus. Friendly students, staff and faculty. We were just there on Monday and the weather was gorgeous and students were out in hammocks and on blankets, and playing music etc. Womens freshman dorm that we saw was great also. From what we understand the school is very well respected in the area, just not as well known outside of TN. I would say you are getting a great deal to be paying only $16,000.
