I am majoring in political science and am considering some top political science schools. Two schools I really like are Wisconsin and Minnesota, but I am looking at others. My SAT Score is 1990, my weighted GPA is 4.3, and my ACT Score is 31. I have taken 4 AP classes in my Junior year (Statistics, US Gov & Politics, US History, and Economics). I live in Connecticut so UCONN is on my list also. Here are the schools:

How is my list? Are there any other schools that could be added that are good in political science and do I have a good chance for these on my list?

What are your cost constraints?

$300,000 max, but the less the better. I would rather get a better education in political science though than saving $$.

What do you plan on doing with a poly sci degree? Do you need to reserve money for law school or grad school??

Often, schools with good law schools will have good poly sci programs at their undergrads.

Alright, your list seems pretty good for your budget.

In state capitals (good for poli sci major) and much lower cost for out of staters who qualify for merit aid than Minnesota or Wisconsin: Nebraska, Florida State. Alabama would be good too.
