College of Charlestown

College of Charleston has NO guaranteed merit awards that are guaranteed for all students with certain stats…unless something has changed.

sorry, I didn’t see automatically, but I know 2 out-of-state students who received full based on grades and ACT scores.

@Snoww26‌

The University of Alabama gives assured free tuition for an ACT 32 or 1400 M+CR SAT and a 3.5 GPA. This is for all majors, no matter their income, state, or anything.

If you’'re an engineering major or CS major, then you only need an ACT 30 or a 1330 SAT and a 3.5 GPA to get free tuition plus 2500 per year.

Deadline is Dec.

What are your stats?

What is your major?

You should have listed your stats. There aren’t many big awards for an ACT 28. Are you retesting?

For an ACT 28, Alabama would give $4k per year.

However, if you retested and got an ACT 29, you’d get half tuition, which is an award of about $12,500 per year…a big jump in money for 1 point.
