<p>Did not write any SAT II Subject Tests, I didn't need any of them for the programs I'm applying to.</p>

<p>Obviously he wasn't accepted to the BS/MD program, he must mean an interview to clarify. My heart kind of skipped a beat when I read that :)...</p>

<p>no he got into the biomedical, he did it on accident. I just pmed him. No one gets an acceptance unless they get an interview. He isnt even applying for the progrm.</p>

<p>Here's my stats...copied from another post I made where I posted em!</p>

<p>GPA: unweighted 94, weighted is around a 98?
Rank: 21 out of 430 (it's really close to that if that's not exact)</p>

<p>Freshman year: basic all honors courses
Sophomore year: Continued all honors, took AP biology, got a 5 on AP
Junior Year: All honors, including AP chem (5), AP US history (3), AP BC calc (4 on BC part, 5 on AB subsection) and AP english (5)
Senior Year: All honors but also AP Physics, AP music theory, Muti-Variable calculus, and AP english Literature</p>

<p>1550 SAT, 800 math, 750 verbal; 760 math IIC, 730 Writing, 720 Chem...kind of disappointing scores. </p>

<p>Academic awards: National Merit Commended Scholar; AP Scholar with Distinction</p>

<p>As for extra-curriculars...this is where I'm loaded. </p>

<p>Played piano for 12 years, I'm pretty darned good if I do say so myself. For anyone who knows what it is, I got a NYSSMA score of 99 on a lvl 6 solo...one point off because I messed up on a scale of all things...</p>

<p>Voice for 2 years, BUT I was the number 2 pick out of Bass 1s for my section of NY in making the All-State choir...</p>

<p>I play the church organ, I work in various local churches playing services, weddings, and funerals. </p>

<p>Varsity Cross country for 4 years, MVP the last two years, Captain this year
Varsity Spring Track for 3 years, will be captain this year
Varsity Swimming for 3 years, made States in 03 on a relay
Contacted the track coach, he seems pretty psyched to have me</p>

<p>Volunteered at the hospital near where I live for 80 hours this summer, had a blast too! </p>

<p>what else...? Other than running/swimming awards and the pretty standard academic awards, there's not much else...I applied to dual degree med programs at BU, RPI, Lehigh and Wash U; I got a call for an interview from BU yesterday!</p>

<p>I applied to UMiami HPM, I live an hr. or so from UM so this seemed like an awesome fit for me.</p>

GPA: 4.0 unweighted, 5.17 weighted, rank 3 out of 435
12 AP's by graduation, 8 credit hrs. at local community college in psych, chem labs, and comp programming
Past AP's: U.S. = 5, Drawing = 3, Chem = 5, Eng Lang = 4, Calc AB = 5, Euro = 4
Senior AP's: Bio, Phys C Mech, Stats, Calc BC, Eng Lit, Macroecon
Some EC's: nuclear chem research, piano - major EC, 10 yrs, 52 awards at local, regional, and state levels, highest level in performance and theory, med club pres, mu alpha theta historian, past positions, member of top regional JETS (engineering) team, 185 hrs community service - 3 yrs at nursing home/rehab facility, summer program in math/science, etc...</p>

<p>I applied EA to UM and got their 75% tuition merit scholarship already and since I'm a FL resident, I also get Bright Futures and already have prepaid, so all in all, its def a great deal financially and academically if I can get into the med program.</p>

<p>Applied to but rejected from: Lehigh, Miami, Kent and Youngstown (They only took 2 from out of state) and Xavier. Still waiting to hear from Temple and U Conn and Brown(ha ha I'll never get in there). I was ecstatic to get an interview considering my stats. I have also applied to Queens U of Ottawa, and a multitude of regular undergrad in the states.</p>

<p>Oh I forgot, GPA 87% unweighted, we don't weight. we don't rank. Also taking five APs this year, Bio, Psych, Physics, Calculus and english, also taking Philosophy</p>

<p>I attended a dual program high school, where our studies included both an intensive general studies program, and an intensive religious studies program where we studied ancient texts in a classic language. I was in school most days until 5:00PM, and we often had hours of homework. Therefore, my extra curricular hours were limited.</p>
