I take a class at a public college, and have listed the college on the “Colleges and Universities” section of the common app. There is no option on that page to list what course I specifically took.
Should I put this college course under “current or most recent year courses” and check it off as Dual Enrollment or something? Or is this section specifically for high school classes?
Otherwise, I don’t really see any other way to report what I took other than to just send my college transcript.
If it not a class that you are taking this year, you do not need to list it, at least on the Common App. As you most likely need to send in a transcript, colleges can see the course name that way.
@skieurope So if I am taking it this year, but it’s a college course, I’m able to list it? Do I check it off as “dual enrollment”?
bump. about to submit app, but still unclear here. help is dearly appreciated.
If it’s a dual enrollment course, list it as dual enrollment. If you are not getting HS credit for it, don’t list it as dual enrollment. You can simply list it as “Course Title” (taken at XYZ Community College).
