Listing Additional Info vs. Resume

Is there any method that is better for completing your app? Do adcoms like to see a nicely laid out resume that is redundant and repeats other EC activities in the additional info section.

I was planning on just LISTING out more accomplishments and a few additional EC's in the additional info section but saw that many here attach resumes in this section. Would it be better to create a resume and attach it? Thanks

I sent resumes as well as additional info pages.

But only do if it you think it's important in portraying who you really are.

A resume should not be redundant. It should list additional information if necessary, or should arrange the activities in a way that makes a "passion" clearer. For example, my d did a lot of dance ECs, and a number of summer programs in dance. She also had various teaching experiences. If she had listed them chronological order, some of those experiences may have gotten lost. So, in addition to listing activities that didn't fit on the application itself, she "grouped" them into Dance Experience and Teaching Experience, and expounded on some that may have not been so obvious. This showed her two passions more clearly.

Do not bore the adcoms by simply reiterating information found elsewhere. (A resume for these purposes, for example, should not contain your GPA or test scores.)

Your concept of listing additional ECs and awards in Additional Info is just fine.

^ so if you list activities in the order of your interest, but it seems like they are all over the place, you can just attach a resume relisting these activities in a different order, but with much more additional information?

I am attaching an activities list and an awards list instead of a resume. I have a resume and will have it on my website (which I will refer adcoms to), but I'll only send it with my app to the one school which specifically requests it.
