~Literary Criticism~

Ok, so Im looking for literary criticism for Joseph Heller's overarcing motifs. I've searched literaly 50 essays, but they always focus on one book, not his worls as a whole. If anyone knows of any good websites for literary criticism, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

how bout do it yourself.

Im just asking if anyone knows about some good resources for literary criticism. Im having a really difficult time finding sites that don't require that you have to pay. The one site I exhausted had nothing I could use. Im just asking for some advice, not for someone to do it for me. Is that a problem?

When I did my research paper on Heller's Catch-22 this year, I found that almost all the literary criticism I found focused on one or two books. You live in Maryland? A good bet is going to the University of Maryland and using Contemporary Literary Criticism (though most of those focus on a specific novel, it's better than nothing.) One of my friends even found a few senior/masters theses that he used. Some of the other public libraries (wheaton in MoCo) have a set of reference books that talk about authors in addition to CLC, but I don't know how much criticism there would be in the Contemporary Authors series.
