is anyone else having trouble with literature?? I was doing the barrons test and i got like 60% right for both diagnostic tests!! arghhh!! does anyone know what that translates to in a real SAT II marking scheme?

yeah, i ahven't had much success with the barron's either? Is it like the math iic where it's extra hard, or does it give an accurate protrayal of one's abilities?

I never did prep for lit, but it is very very hard...

Barron's books are always harder then the real test , and it's definitelly better to use them than books with lower than real level of difficulty.

How much more difficult a SAT prep book should be is a very slippery topic for discussion, but as far as Barron's books go, they give a good overall picture of what is likely to appear on the real test.

Don't worry about your practice scores - just take Barron's tests without timing yourself.

Here is my general opinion on the SAT Literature, and I wonder if it's shared:
the test is very subjective, and thus is much more difficult to get good scores compare to any other SAT Subject tests.

I've routinly heard people say they were getting ~680 on Barrons IIC practice tests but got 800 easily on the real thing...which is what counts.
