Literature subject test... help!

I'm going to be taking the Literature subject test this Saturday, as well as the Math IIC test (taking it for the second time; got a 760 first time round). I'm honestly more concerned about the former, and although I bought/read the Princeton Review SAT II Lit book to help me prepare, I'm not sure as to how helpful it will be on the actual day of the test. Does anyone have any helpful tips or suggestions? :)

I’m also probably taking Lit(since I signed up for 3 tests & only need to take math & chem) but I haven’t prepared at all; soooo, you’re in better standing than I am.

I heard it’s hard & has a brutal curve though, so a lower score in Lit is nothing to be ashamed of. Sorry I don’t have any advice lol

Two more days before the test… I’m assuming I should just approach it like I would approach an SAT CR section. Would this be the correct strategy to use?

NO! SAT Lit is like AP Lit, NOT the CR. SAT CR = AP ENG LANG, SATII LIT = AP LIT.
If you haven’t taken AP Lit yet… you’re going to have a bit of ahard time.

I used PR and did the practice tests and got an 800 in Nov. It’s really very very helpful IMO and the practice tests a little bit harder than the actual test. Didn’t take AP Lit.

Good luck!

^ Totally with Quasi, you don’t need AP Lit to get an 800 on the SAT lit subject test. I primarily used Kaplan, but I think it’s around the same level as PR. Just keep giving practise tests and learning from your mistakes. That’s all you’ll need.

i didnt take ap lit when i took the SAT 2 for it…i scored 740, i think ap comp definatly helps with understanding and analyzing passages, although it is mixed with ap lit vocab such as synecdoche and stuff like that

haha my friends here just took the lit!
i just did spanish…

Well, I got my scores back today: 720 on Lit! I’m actually quite pleased, considering how harsh the curve is. I was expecting my score to fall somewhere within the range of 600-800 (as you can imagine, that wasn’t very helpful in easing my stress lol).
