<p>Okay so I'm only a sophomore, but I got an email today from Colgate asking me to participate in a live chat with admissions officers and current Colgate students. I'm interested in Colgate but as of now it would not even be close to a first choice school. It would be a low-reach/high-match for me as well so would this little chat have an impact on admission come time to apply senior year?</p>

<p>I doubt it, but you might be able to get some good info out of it. If you're serious about Colgate, it certainly wouldn't hurt.</p>

but it could be a great way to get to know the school a little better.</p>
