(It's in the New Student Guide.) Is anyone thinking of doing one? Is it worth it? Sounds fun, but I don't want to limit myself, in terms of meeting people. Any opinions/advice?

It really depends on the type of initial experience you want at Georgetown. Ofcourse, living in an LLC will give you easier access to finding friends that share you interests. On the other hand, if you want to meet different, eclectic array of friends, you may find it harder to do within your immediate dorm floor. Over time, I'm sure it doesn't matter much either way. I personally don't want to do it after talking with an RA b/c: You don't get to do CHARMS, the LLC's are usually around 40-50 people only, there is a gender disbalance (more girls to guys), and after all, aren't we heading to college for a Fresh, New experience, so why not expand our social horizons and explore different personalities.
