Living and Swimming in Clemson

Hi guys,
I’m an international grad student coming to Clemson this fall. I love to swim and the idea of being able to access the water easily on a daily basis sounds like a dream. I wonder if there are (a) many places near campus where you can easily get into the lake, and (b) any apartments located close to the water/swimming spots.

I know this is a pretty specific question, but thought it was worth a shot to see if anyone had knowledge of this.

@anikw There is a pool in the Fike Center right on campus. https://www.clemson.edu/campus-life/campus-recreation/fike/

@AnikaW I believe you can access the lake from the rowing docs, which are behind the baseball stadium. The closest freshman dorms to that would be Core A, the Shoeboxes, and Holmes. I’m sure there are several other lake access points, but that is the one officially on campus as far as I know.
