Hey all,
I am just wondering what the $24,000 estimate of “living expenses” includes? Will I really be spending around 460 bucks a week going to NYU?
You can see the estimate I am referring to here: http://www.nyu.edu/global/international-immigration-services/students/inbound-to-nyc/pre-arrival/estimatedexpenses.html
I am just curious because they state that students “must demonstrate that they have sufficient liquid assets to cover tuition and living expenses for at least one year of study”.
Cheers
Living expenses includes cost of dorms or of renting an apartment, which will make up the bulk of the $24,000. Meal plans are also quite pricey, as can be food in NYC, particularly for students who tend to eat out instead of buying groceries and cooking.
