Living in KLLC

is it a good move to live in the KLLC, or will i not be able to have as much FUN as i would living in a normal dorm?

You will be able to have plenty of fun. The LLC is nice because there are always people around you that are in the same classes so help is always nearby. KLLC is often the craziest part of McNutt. Enjoy

Do you guys/anyone think it’s too late to apply for KLLC?

Last year people applied in April and still got in, so probably not. But it also depends on your gender and where you live because they try to make it equal between males and females, and they don’t just want to fill it with Indiana/Chicago kids.

Well I’m an Indian guy from Texas so hopefully I’ll get it. I’ll apply next week if I don’t get into my top choice college…do you know when they tell us our housing assignments? I wouldnt go to IU unless I was in KLLC bc it sounds like a great opportunity

You don’t find out housing till late (definitely after the May 1st commitment deadline) but I think that people who apply for an LLC will find out earlier… not sure of the exact dates. You can always call RPS and ask them; they’re really helpful. And you can still get an outstanding experience at IU even if you don’t live in the KLLC, but I don’t think you’re applying too late at all. You should be fine.

People find out about LLC’s on a rolling basis and if you apply today you would find out before May 1st most likely.

The tough thing is that it seems like most people get these letters telling them they have been approved but it’s not for sure. Like I said, they seem pretty strict about the half DA and half Pre-business thing. They also want half girls and half guys, as well as plenty of people from outside the Midwest.
