Living in Scholars Village

I’ve been accepted into the scholars program and I know that Sullivan Hall is the current scholars village. Is it recommended to live in that dorm if you’re a part of the scholars program instead of another hall?

It’s not required.
Join if you want to live in Sullivan/location and like having a group of people to do the scholar activities. You can have a non scholar to room with you.

I hope this isn’t censored.
One commentator said that s/he liked scholars village. A couple of other users debated on if trains were an issue at Sullivan.

If you are a really light sleeper, the train could be an issue if you live on one of the lower floors of Sullivan, directly across from the tracks. I was on 3rd or 4th floor as a Freshman (many decades ago), and it took me a couple weeks to get used to the trains. But I’m a pretty heavy sleeper, so after that, it’s like anything, you acclimate to it. Trains never bothered me unless they intentionally came through blowing the whistle.
