<p>Can anyone give me information about the living learning communities, specifically leadership/service, transfer united, carolina experience, and sophomore experience? What type of people usually participate? Is it a good opportunity? Thanks!</p>
<p>I lived in the Carolina Experience community when I was a freshman (I am now a senior) and it was a complete joke. The only good thing was that it was in Teague dorm (mid campus), I think it is now housed in Koury or some other south campus dorm. In my four years, I haven’t heard anyone say really positive things about learning communities, they seem to be good at gathering people with similar interests, but they don’t really do anything beyond that. Again, I can only speak from my own experiences, but when I was in CE it was a major let down (other than the sweet freshman housing).</p>
