<p>Hi ya'll. I was hoping to live off campus next year. The housing cancellation form is due tomorrow by 2 pm for me so I'm in a bit of a crunch. My dad wants to know, what happens with the money for housing that we get from the PLUS loan. Because his concern is that because we are using the PLUS loan to pay for housing every semester, even if living off campus would be cheaper, he doesn't have enough money right now to pay for off campus rent. So he basically wants to know if the PLUS loan money that we use to pay for housing would go towards tuition or if it would go to us. I couldn't really understand him very well (language barrier), and he won't give me any details about the situation. I really don't know much about my financial aid or loans or anything like that because my parents don't like talking about with me, so sorry if this is a stupid question. I just really really really don't want to live at lafayette next year!!!!</p>
