Does anyone know good spots to live off-campus? Where do other students usually live?

my daughter and her friends are probably renting at university edge next year. while she is living there we will be purchasing a duplex or triplex and will be renting out the other units and my daughter and her friends will live on the main level. a great area to rent a room in a house is in the clifton heights area.

actually since my daughter is in DAAP and will be start co-ops next year she found it very hard to find an apartment to rent where she doesnt have to sign a year lease. we actually have been looking for a house we can purchase off campus close to the DAAP side of campus. if we do i will let you know because we will be renting out rooms in the house.
I used CollegeAnnex to find my place. All the landlords that rent to UC students are on it…
we are actually in the process of buying a duplex house on ADA street. it is 8 houses away from the shuttle stop and within walking distance to campus. We will either have 2 or 3 bedrooms available starting in the fall to rent.
thanks bearcatkid22 i listed our property on there. now hoping to find some summer tenants.
My first year at UC I lived on Ludlow. It’s about a 20 minute walk to campus and there is a shuttle stop for when it’s raining/snowing. My 2nd year I lived closer to campus (Clifton Heights) and couldn’t wait to move and definitely preferred the Gaslight District.
However, if you have a car your options are greater. My BF lived in Hyde Park and I now live in Mt. Adams which are both about a 10 min. drive. I’ve also known people who have lived downtown as well as across the river in KY.
thanks all…the house is in the heights development in clifton on ADA street. it is a few houses away from the UC shuttle and about a 10 minute walk to DAAP
another source is the facebook group ID DAAP co-ops. it is full of people looking to sublet their rooms while on co-ops as well as list long term leasing options with the option of subletting your room.
