D was at accepted students day yesterday where it was "strongly" suggested to her that she dorm with the Criminal Justice LLC. She is torn as to how important that is. Some of the other students she has talked to have said they don't want to miss out on the whole "freshman bonding" thing in general by living at one of the freshmen dorms, as compared to the smaller group that would be living in her LLC. Question is - how important is living with your LLC, and do a lot of freshmen go that route.

hi, i live on the cj llc at northeastern. it’s just half a floor in stetson east (an all freshmen dorm). right across the hallway are non-cj majors, and all the floors above and below are non-cj majors as well. it’s been great living near the people you see often in classes, cj events, etc, but i don’t believe it will be any sort of detriment if you do not live on the llc. you will meet all sorts of people whether or not you live on the floor or not. don’t worry about it! personally, i did not request to live on the llc, thinking i wanted the whole “freshmen experience” too, but was placed here anyways and have been extremely happy, and i met all sorts of people! hope this helps!
