Would someone mind posting the content of their acceptance email? D received one two days after acceptance with video from Dean of her college, but never an original one. We’re debating whether she should make a call.

@madelineing I talked to the Honors office last year but, didn’t specifically ask about merit scholarships. It seems that merit scholarships can be all over the place depending on your major, background, etc. Last year my daughter didn’t get direct admit to Honors but, was also invited to apply (never did), and recieved more merit scholarship than a friend of hers who got direct admit to the Honors program. Also, merit scholarships go out the end of Jan./early Feb. which is before decisions for the Honors program is made so it seems that they are independent of each other. The top two merit scholarships (Trustee and Presidential) get direct admit to the Honors Program.
@SeattleMom1 are those who were directly admitted into the honors program already notified upon their acceptance?
Son is in Honors at LMU. He did not get a direct admit to Honors when he was accepted into LMU. Instead he went on the LMU Honor’s page and applied for the Honors program in mid February after he received his LMU acceptance in January. He was accepted into the Honors program in April. He did not receive any additional merit aid - above what he received as an incoming Freshman - when he was accepted into the Honors program, but he did receive some Honor merit aid for the Spring semester of his Freshman year and on.
Does anyone know the chances of getting in once deferred at LMU. I had my heart set on getting accepted.
Has anyone received an email from LMU inviting you to apply to the AAAA or LAA scholarships? It says you have to be admitted to apply but I was deferred for Early Action. Should I still apply?

Your financial aid award might already be available in your portal. Go to the “Prowl”section of you myLMU and look for the financial aid section. Good luck!!

Disappointed that LMU will not be an option for D19. Only $3,500 in Merit, not enough to make it feasible.

How do you get into the myLMU? I can get into my application portal but it won’t let me into myLMU or PROWL.
An email came a few days ago with instructions and a link.
So if I didn’t get an email does that mean I didn’t earn any merit aid?
