Honestly I donāt have great stats academically, my GPA is a 3.4 (average) and Iām Vice President of a club at my college. I think what really made them consider me were my essays. Iām a storyteller so I had a lot of fun writing them and really getting them to see what my personality was like through the essays. I also had a strong recommendation letter that really made me sound awesome on paper, so that probably helped too lol.
Good luck to all, hope see you all there in the fall!

Just logged into engage.lmu and it says that my high school transcripts are āwaivedā I know this is a really insignificant thing but do you guys know what that means? Should I still send my high school transcripts or wait until I (hopefully) get in? Thanks
@collegestas If youāre coming from a community college/university and transferring with 60 or more credits, then they will waive your high school transcripts and only look at your community college transcripts, so no need to send in your high school transcripts at all. They waived it to let their records know and you that it is not a requirement for your application.
High school transcripts are required for students who are applying their senior year or if they have 30 credits or less from a community college.
@indiaa Okay, thank you

Hi everyone! How has it been? Any good news?
@BuckyBarnes anxiously waiting!! & @ anyone who knows and/or sees this, when do they usually send admission decisions for RD transfer students?
@collegestas I know a couple of people who applied RD who have already been accepted. When I called, they said theyāll be reviewing applications until May 1st.
@BuckyBarnes just acceptances? ahhh Iām so nervous
Anxiously waiting!
@collegestas There have been those who have been waitlisted. I havenāt really heard of anyone say they got denied. I am not sure, but I heard that colleges send denial letters after everything is said and done.
@transfer201831 I keep hearing people say that they release information on applications on Friday around 5pm-9pm. Hopefully we hear something today.
@BuckyBarnes fingers crossed
