Anything?
If you are still waiting on results I pray you get in!
As I previously said, I was accepted for Film Prod earlier this year as a transfer.
I recently spoke with my advisor about classes.
If you are worried about course registration; slots are held for admitted students even if it says a course is full (atleast for film production students.)
Mind if I asked what type of school you are transferring from? A junior college or 4 yr university/college?
The person you asked that question to seems to be the only person accepted to film production at an insanely early date.
They also seem to brag a lot about their admission. Look at previous posts. They sure seem eager to offer “advice” and make other people feel like crap at the same time. Would question the reliability at this point of the “helpfulness” being offered when it’s done in as passive-aggressive way. Good luck to you and sincerely hope that the students who got their applications in on time and gave it their all hear soon. I’m waiting myself at this point and had to commit to another institution. LMU has strung this out way too long.
I’m transferring from a 4-year out of state! I went to university while I was serving overseas so I haven’t actually been on a campus yet. Most, if not all, my class work was done online.
I’m sorry you are still waiting to hear back. If there is anything you’d like to know that I’ve experienced so far, feel free to ask!
Thank you for your service. Did you get the opportunity to make films while taking classes online and serving overseas?
I was overseas for a few years. During that time, I really only worked on personal passion projects. I also did a lot of self-learning and I wrote about that in my app. I feel like I just poured my passion and curiosity for film into my application and I guess it resonated well.
I’m positive you’ll hear back soon and I hope you get good news!!
I actually heard back yesterday and got into SFTV. Even though I love the location of the school I decided on Chapman. It’s a combination of just deciding I was heading to Chapman(which arguable has a better film program anyway) along with how long it took. Anyway good luck to you all. Wish you the best.
Anyone get rejection notifications today?
