Hi, I’ve toured the campus and it is BEAUTIFUL.
I hate to ask you, (I am currently awaiting my decision to the film and production school as well),
but what were your gpa and sat scores? Just so I can compare myself?

I believe there is also an admitted student event the weekend before–but my daughter is completely uninterested in going. Just what I was afraid would happen with the long delay–instead of being an hour away by car, she’s going to really fly the nest. I’m happy for her (sob!). This is my last post, and I would like to thank everyone for all the information and insights, and I wish you all the best of luck.

does anyone know about what kind of social atmoshere loyola has? reviews online say girls dress in designer sweats for class etc. and i’ve heard that from other california college students that LMU has that reputation. does anyone know about the friendliness of students or if greek life dominates? the campus is beautiful, but we’re wondering what the students are really like. i’d appreciate any info. thanks

Shocking that daughter was rejected. 3.95 GPA, SAT scores 2240, extremely academic private high school, wonderful teacher recommendations and lots of extra curricular. LMU is the new hot school and daughter accepted to many harder colleges including U. of Penn, UCLA and Cal Berkeley.

I applied to film production which I hear is pretty competitive. I just got rejected from chapman the other day and I still havent heard anything from LMU yet. Im getting the feeling Im going to be getting a small envelope
