hi ok so this is my first post on here and it might be helpful but im currently a junior on the east coast who is dying to get into some warm weather. my grades are not the best but they’re above avg. my gpa is around 3.7 to 3.6 and i took that sat twice and the act once and i bombed three times but i’m planning to get a 27 or 26 on the Act (or even a little bit higher) in the upcoming months.
I started rowing during my sophomore year and now im on the varsity crew team in a very nice, nationally ranked club, i know this isn’t the rowing thread but just thought i would mention it. i wanna start talking to coaches as well.
i’m currently taking ap gov and ap language and doing decent in them. lmu has d1 rowing which i love, but chapman only has club but their film school might be better. main question is what is better…lmu’s film program or chapmans? and which one will land me a bigger job afterwards? how does the social life differ?
Hi there. I got into to both schools and I visited Chapman twice. I really love Chapman’s campus. Chapman is supposed to have better equipments and its Dodge College is supposed to be the fourth largest film school in the U.S. following USC, UCLA, and NYU I think? LMU is closer to Hollywood. I heard that a lot of conservative rich kids go to LMU, and Chapman is definitely much more liberal. My friends who went to Chapman told me Greek scene is pretty big and the school emphasizes on educating its students to be inclusive even though there is like no diversity on campus. Hope its useful!
