AP classes are good to get into a college but the credit is kinda useless and is bad for grad school

What is the MAXimum number of AP Exams one should take (without overload)?

I would say about 3-4.

How can you all be making such generalizations? Each school's AP classes will differ, regardless of the fact that they are supposed to be similar. I took AP US History this year, and I find it moderate...certainly not as difficult as some have classified it. I have to agree with the poster that said that the AP classes revolve around thinking rather than busy work, I find my AP Language (English) class to be that way: In-class discussions of literature basically.

Good luck. You should do fine. Try it out for a few weeks and see what happens. Are you able to drop classes after the year starts?

Matt

3-4?

crap
i'm taking 8

my school has pretty easy AP's, so taking 5 a year isn't overload. however at some school with good funding, it would be overkill, you can't generalize.

APUS was the most intense class...I mean inbetween huge chapter tests, readings taking an hour everyday, study questions taking half-an hour and many, many projects, it is one class I'm glad I got it over with
