@brownparent I thought I said that I now have a better understanding of how it all works now. Yes I can admit it was selfish to just make my grandmother sign onto a huge loan for that amount. I have been looking at jobs and I have a good chance in getting a job that pays $14 a hour that I applied to yesterday and I’m waiting to hear back. And I’ve already spoke to someone at the school and they reassured me that I do not need a loan for that much at all. Because the school will try to work with me as best as they can and how I do have a high chance of being able to go. So yes everything is taken care of now. Thanks again

ProduceDonn: This is a forprofit school. Their goal is PROFIT from you. It’s right in the name. HAven’t you read the many reports about how these schools leave students in debt without a usable degree? If you’re serious about your career (which you seem to be) DO NOT go to this school. Of course they’d reassure you you won’t need that many loans etc etc, they’re paid on commission on how many students enroll. What happens to the students next isn’t of their concern. So if you’re serious about going to LA and working in that industry, go to a reputable community college, or get a degree from one of the programs with actual industry connections, or just go and work part time while trying to audition, but don’t spend all that money on a college that is trying to get your money, not trying to educate you.
Find a public college such as Orange County’s or LA’s, where the programs are reputable and much cheaper.
