out of stater finances

how are you guys paying for college? if you guys are getting loans or scholarships, how did you guys apply for either of them? does all that information get sent to you? i have yet to receive any sort of financial information from la. is it too late to apply for loans? i have filled out fafsa and am still waiting on the reply. im going to have to pay out of state tuition and am starting to stress. any advice is appreciated here.

I know exactly what you mean when you are talking about stress. I have applied for both loans and received scholarships (go for the small ones, they tend to add up). Go to your high school college counselor right away and ask about loans. I know of Sallie Mae, they are good for loans so you may want to look them up. I suggest that you act quickly. I'm also working right now (try to get a summer job to save money for college). Go to fastweb.com and look for some scholarships. And contact your financial advisor. They may be able to give you much better advice than me. Good luck and don't stress. Eventually, this will all pass. Be sure to communicate with your advisor though.

oh i forgot to mention that im a transfer.

its not too late i just excepted my loans

My parents are wealthy... man, I'm so glad.
