<p>i wanted to check my status last week but i forgot my username and password. i think i tried so many times that they automatically locked my account haha. it said that if i want to do anything about it then i'll have to show up in PERSON with a photo id. but i'm an international student so obviously i can't do that. will this affect my application? or it's just that i can't check my status online and will have to wait for the letter to come in the mailbox?</p>
<p>I believe some others had this problem and worked it out over the phone.</p>

<p>Apparently the system is meant for students at UW and they are just using it this year for applicants. That's why it tells you to show up in person at the university.</p>
