ok given that its almost the end of november and ppl are just starting to get confirmation...

do u guys think there is an auto accept/reject pile at all?
because if ppl are just starting to find out that pieces of their app are missing and they send em back to them by the end of next week for arguments sake and they have em in by the 3rd of December at the latest... they'd hafta do decisions by that friday/mon/tuesday and have the letters out to arrive on the 15th...

so... those of us getting the incomplete notices are either committee bound files (and therefore, the auto accepts have already been admitted b/c as i read somewhere, they really dont need the ENTIRE application to do the review) or (more likely, i hope)... theyre slow and we therefore won't have our decisions until well after teh 15th like that weekend at the earliest...

Anyone care to add some more conjecture?

okay so this is sort of a bump but what do you ppl think honestly? kebree, phil, zant, and u regulars, humor me PLEASE?

they send out confirmations to everyone my friend.

not really...I think they do get applications that they barely have to look over to tell which decision to make, but they are in the {very small} minority.
I think Princeton is just slower than the other schools in confirmation...though I have heard that in some cases interviews may be requested by an admissions reader who wants to know a bit more about an applicant before coming to a decision.

So how about this: they're slow and they may not need the whole app in some cases...
