long essay.......help needed urgently!!

my long essay is 3490 chartacters long?? is it enough??

also ive basically written why i wanna leave India and go to study in the United States......blah blah blah.........

how do i incorporate it into the topic???

Well... you have to base it on some quote, or alternatively you could use a picture of some US landmark you truly adore.. It's really hard to say, without reading your essay. I knew when I was writing mine, I started off with the quotes I was going to use, and then decided how I was going to structure my essay, and in that way I knew I was going to remain on topic.

3490 characters is plenty. Mine was 3980 characters, and even though I used a very small 10pt font, I had around 1cm of space left in the box that I glued it to. With regard to the online application, I believe the limit is 4800 characters, or around that, so you should be fine. As long as you are content with your essay, and you've said what you've wanted to say, then it doesnt matter whether its 4799 or 2500 characters.

Good luck!!

If you use a quote, it does not have to necessarily be the focus of your essay. Just weave it into the first half and note it's significance. It could be a simple comment someone made to you that stuck with you and made a difference in your decisions on what you want to do.

^^ Conversely, I think the quote has to be a focal point of the essay, or you should at least dedicate 1 paragraph in describing how it affects you, and everything else that stems from that.
